Vindkraft Ukraina LLC (Kherson region, Ukraine) announces that the company will tender a package of wind turbines for delivery in 2015

 Managing Director Vindkraft Ukraina LLC Mr. Carl Sturen and his team intends to build a wind power station upto 70 MW in 2015 in the Kherson region. The company has completed the installation and put into commercial operation three wind parks with total 31 MW using state of the art equipment from the international electrical engineering group ABB from Sweden and Vestas from Denmark. Vindkraft develops a large portfolio of wind power in southern Ukraine and considers a number of investments around the Black Sea in Kherson region.

Mr. Sturen is well known in the region together with his partner Johan Bodén to have established the company Chumak in Kakhovka, which was founded in 1996.

A consultant from Vindkraft Ukraina took part in a conference on Ecological monitoring for wind and solar power plants

Vindkraft Ukraina’s consultant Ph.D. Björn Edman participated in a conference on Ecological monitoring for wind and solar power.  

In Melitopol today opened an international scientific- practical conference " Environmental monitoring of wind and solar power ." This is the first conference in Ukraine on this topic. The conference brought together scientists from Ukraine, Russia, Crimea , Sweden and the Netherlands. The conference is held on the basis of Melitopol State Pedagogical University . B. Vindkraft Ukraina LLC announces the completion of two wind power plants in Kherson region

Photographer: Julia ChornayaManaging Director for Vindkraft Ukraina, Mr. Carl Sturén and his team announce the commissioning of the Beregovaya – 12 MW and Stavki – 9 MW wind power plants. The plants are equipped with Vestas’ V-112 units with a capacity of 3 MW each and a hub height of 119 meters. The units are the highest ever commissioned in Ukraine and will together generate more than 70 million kWh of clean electricity annually. The international electrical engineering group ABB from Sweden has delivered the state of the art electrical equipment for the electrical substations.

Mr. Sturen outlines the strategic targets for Vindkraft Ukraina  – “We intend to continue developing wind power plants in Ukraine despite the current uncertainties. We hope that the Ukrainian parliament will extend the present tariffs which will bring major investments into the field.

Vindkraft Ukraina LLC from Kherson Region in Ukraine purchases substations from ABB Sweden

Carl Sturen: signing a contract with ABBManaging Director for Vindkraft Ukraina, Mr. Carl Sturen and his team signed the agreement to purchase electrical substations and engineering services for its wind power projects in Kherson region for an expected investment value up to 10 million euro. The international electrical engineering group ABB from Sweden will deliver the state of the art equipment over an 18-month time period.

Mr. Sturen is well known in the region together with his partner Johan Bodén to have established the ketchup producer Chumak in Kakhovka which was founded in 1996.

Mr. Sturen outlines the strategic targets for Vindkraft Ukraina – “We intend to continue working with our international partner ABB Group and expand on our first 9 MW wind power project in Novorossiske. Vindkraft Ukraina will create new employment opportunities in local production of wind turbine equipment, construction and operation of wind power plants. I am proud to once again break new grounds in Kherson region”
